Welcome to Anita Pearson Photography.


I began taking pictures of family members at family reunions at the age of thirteen. Later, I began photographing pets and plants. I am a retired teacher of 40 years, with degrees in Special Education/Learning Disability and Biology. I attended Tidewater Community College (Visual Arts Center) after retirement and received an Associate Degree in Studio Arts with emphasis in photography in December, 2014. I am a member of the Professional Photography Association, Virginia Beach Photography Association and Virginia Professional Photography Association.

I am a portrait photographer; specializing in headshots for personal and commercial use. I, also, have maternity and senior sessions. 

All sessions include a pre-session phone, email or one-to-one consultation. All family sessions include on location photoshoot for up to nine people. There is a fee of $10.00 for additional people.
